Our first Star Teacher is Kristy Fortune!

She teaches Kindergarten at The Hillander School.  She is dedicated to providing every student in her classroom the very best education possible.  Mrs. Fortune is known for going the extra mile for her students whether that means tutoring after school, calling a student in the evening to explain a concept that needs re-teaching, and on occasion even teaching a student in his/her front yard.  Teaching is her passion and it is evident in every lesson, hug, and conversation she has with her students.  Even on the really tough days Mrs. Fortune wears a smile and stays positive.  She is a Star Teacher!

      This school year in unlike any other! It presents so many extra challenges for teachers, parents, and administrators. We are praying of all of you as we navigate this together. We appreciate each and every one of you!
