Ingredients

1 – 1 ½ lbs. flank steak
1 C teriyaki sauce
6 T vegetable oil
¼ C fresh ginger, finely chopped
1/3 C garlic, minced
1 ½ t crushed red pepper
24 wooden skewers


Preparation


1. Cut beef diagonally, across the grain, into ¼ inch thick slices.
2. Thread each slice onto a bamboo skewer.
3. Prepare marinade by mixing teriyaki sauce, vegetable oil, ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper.
4. Pour marinade over beef in shallow pan, reserving ¼ C for basting.
5. Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours.
6. Broil or grill 3 minutes per side to desired doneness, basting once or twice and turning occasionally.
